At the Kiel-Bülk wastewater treatment plant that was built in 1999, Supratec replaced in 2005 the 8100 old tube diffusers on the existing piping with 5400 OXYFLEX® MF 1100's. Efficiency increased due to the larger degassing area and the low pressure loss. The operator reported a 40 % energy saving after one year.
